Grant, babysitter in Lethbridge southeast

I'm a fun loving responsible male university student (I'm currently taking a general psychology course and later plan to focus more directly on childhood development) that loves kids and wants to make a little extra money to help with living expenses and tuition. I have nearly 7 years experience helping babysitting for neighbours, relatives and people from the community I grew up in. I have experience with kids as young as 4 months old to young adults aged 12-13 so I'm open to pretty much any age group! I'm looking for part time care, mostly evenings and/or weekends but emergency care would be tough as I already have a job and university classes. I am willing to work around class and work schedules to help out whenever I can, my availability will be far more open in April when classes are out for the year. This summer I will be looking for something more permanent, possibly a full-time childcare position helping with parents that have full-time jobs over the summer and don't want their kids to go to a day home every day. I live in Lethbridge but I have a reliable vehicle so I would be willing to travel to surrounding communities.

I believe that childcare is all about finding the right balance of being the fun babysitter that the kids love and the responsible babysitter that the parents love too! I have references available upon request and would love to talk to you about my past work! Full disclosure: the first aid training course that I have needs to be updated and I fully intent to update it, its just been one of those things that was easy to put off because I haven't worked with children since last summer. the course that I took also included a basic childcare seminar that went more into detail about how to not only properly care for a
child, but also what specific techniques to use on a child rather than an adult for first aid in an emergency situation.

I'm comfortable with diapers, bathing, feeding, dressing, cooking, cleaning and pretty mush anything else you can throw at me. If there is something that I'm not comfortable with I'm a quick learner and am up for any challenge!
