My name is Teija, I am a student enrolled in post secondary school in Sault ste. Marie Ont. I love children and have had babysitting jobs here and there for a few years now. Most of my jobs consisted of looking after family, children of close family friends or friends of friends children. I believe that babysitting is not only about the care for the child. it goes beyond that. It is about fully engaging with them and spending time with them. Children need undivided attention and a sense of security with whomever is looking out for them.
