Beth, babysitter in Newmarket northeast

My name is Beth and I am seeking part time work as a babysitter this summer. I am 23 years old, and have just graduated from Chemical Engineering at McMaster University. I am currently not applying for engineering career positions. I am taking this summer break to save a little extra money for some travelling I would like to do in the fall, and my past experiences in childcare have been some of the best and most fulfilling jobs I've had.

I have lots of prior experience in childcare. I worked as a camp counselor and lifeguard for three summers at overnight camps. At camp, I cared for children ranging in age from 5 to 14 years old. I guided children through being away from home for the first time, as well as ran activities and games, and taught skills such as swimming and sailing. In addition to camp, I also taught skiing to children ages 6 to 12 for two winter seasons. Through these jobs, I learned valuable skills in communicating with and caring for children of various ages.
