Karen, babysitter in Kenora

I'm Karen and I am 21, I currently live in the United Kingdom but will be moving to Dauphin, MB on 20th January. Since I am moving to Dauphin to be with my husband I am looking for any part time or full time work in the local area. I was born and raised into a large family so whilst growing up I was surrounded by family members of all ages. As soon as I was old enough I was babysitting my family members, ranging from newborn to 8 years old. I've done everything from changing diapers to helping with homework, you name it. I have a Bachelor degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, my studies included Safeguarding Children and Mentoring. I am looking for any children experience to build my confidence before I study for my Teaching Qualification. My qualities as a childcarer would include fun, energetic but also firm when it comes to things such as homework. I help out as much as I can so I know the child is gaining from their work and understands the work they are doing. My main form of childcare would include looking after my cousins who are 1, 6 and 7. I pick them up from school, take them home, work through their homework before I cook their dinner and engage in fun games like hide and seek or we watch tv. I also get them ready for bed and put them to bed before their parents come in from work late at night.
