Claudia, babysitter in Hampstead H3X

Hello! I'm Claudia, 25, Spanish-Italian. Currently looking for part-time opportunities to finance myself and my hobbies. I moved from Italy to Montreal in 2017, to study Criminology at University of Montreal and lived in Amsterdam for the past two years to pursue a Master in International Crimes and Conflict. I moved back in August 2023 to finally settle back in Montreal because the city always felt like home for me.

I've always enjoyed babysitting because I love children and their boundless energy. As the eldest daughter in a large family, I grew up surrounded by children, gaining personal experience in caring for them from a young age. I was babysitting on Topnanny my first couple years in Montreal, aside of my studies. During my bachelor I did an internship in prevention of violence and development of social skills with children aged 5-12, where activities ranged from theatre, to cuisine, to boardgames and physical activity. Currently I continue to care for the children of friends and my boyfriend's siblings and cousins, which I tutor in English. Therefore I decided to reactivate my account.

Raised trilingual in a multicultural family, I have cultivated an open-minded and curious personality and a passion for learning new languages and cultures. I would be particularly happy to care for children with multicultural backgrounds and engage with them in multiple languages if you desire so. I’m easygoing, cheerful, and I carry an active lifestyle that aligns well with the energy of children. I love arts and crafts, so I’d enjoy creating games and activities with your children, that both entertain and make them learn something new. Additionally, I am also passionate about cooking and understand the significance of a healthy diet during childhood. If needed, I would be happy to prepare meals for your children and involve them in the process if you wish.

Fun aside, I wish for you parents to feel comfortable and reassured, I am quite patient and can maintain calmness around children, I can give them guidance to assist them with homework, and I am very responsible. It is important for me to respect the household rules and instructions, and in doing so help reinforce the routine and consistency that you already put in place for your children.

I share a car with my boyfriend, which I can use in the afternoons after 3pm while he’s working. My availabilities are quite flexible.
