Hi my name is Kayleigh. I enjoy being outdoors and some of my hobbies include; cooking, reading, exercise and crafts . I'm currently attending Humber College for Community and Justice Services where I hope to one day work in helping Women and Children who are victims of Poverty and Violence.
I'm open for occasional half days and evenings during the work week and all weekend for babysitting or part-time care.
Growing up I helped care for my younger brothers and cousins in the family setting. Six months ago my baby sister was born and I actively help my parents care for her and allow them the rest parents deserve. I also began volunteer work in the Yonge Street Mission Nursery Drop-In program, where young parents experiencing poverty can use the facilities while their children are being minded. Some of my valued character traits are; patience, understanding, caring, and verbal communication.
I believe a learning environment that is open and patient must be created to foster children's optimal growth. Homework, crafts, imagination and role play are the most important things one must focus on. Second only to being honest and answering questions all curious children ask in a respectful and helpful manner.
