I am an energetic person who takes pride and thoroughly enjoys working with children and youth. I have had a myriad of jobs, but working in this field is what I truly enjoy, and have a passion for. I play many sports competitively and recreationally and like to be active and keep busy. I have my Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, obtained from Douglas College.

Currently, I work for the Victoria School District as an Education Assistant. My job consists of working one-on-one with special need students, as well as in small groups. I also work with those who have challenging behaviours, and those who require extra support. I facilitate learning, and work as a team with all other school staff members to do so. In Vancouver, where I am from, I worked for the Vancouver School Board for three years as a Supervision-Aide. My job entailed supervising the students in classrooms, on the school grounds, and during assemblies. I solved problems, disputes, made sure the school was a friendly, inclusive environment for all, and disciplined the students when necessary. I also worked at Kiwassa Neighbourhood House in East Vancouver as an after-school program leader, where I lead activities such as soccer, swimming and gym games.
