I am an RECE currently employed at a center in Hamilton. I will be going back to University in May so I am looking for extra part time/occasional/emergency childcare jobs to support my income during school.

I graduated from Mohawk in 2016, however I have worked with children since I was young. I worked in my first licensed childcare center in 2014.

I have my food handlers certificate and can make basic items however I dislike cooking very much.

My current age group I am working with right now is 2 year olds. I can work with any age group from 2+.

Being an RECE we have to plan age appropriate activities that foster a child's development and follow Ontarios Pedagogy for the Early Years "How Does Learning Happen" This pedagogy focuses on belonging, well being, engagement and expression for optimal learning and development. Children are capable and competent and are treated as such.

Sensory, messy play is my favourite.

-I am a Regristered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the college.
-I have a Crimial Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector
- I have my first aid/cpr
-I have my Food Handlers Certificate
-I have a Valid G Drivers License
