When I am babysitting it truly becomes about the children and making their experience as great as possible. For many children being away from their parents is something they do not look forward to. However by making them feel engaged, listened to, and entertained slowly but surely the kids would become less and less afraid of being apart from their parents. I love working with children I have worked for the same family for 5 years now, besides working professionally for the family I have a god-daughter of the age of 6 a little brother and 2 cousins. Childcare is fun because it something that gets back to you. Kids are always grateful when they are listened to and will not hesitate to let you know what you are doing wrong or right, so there can be found a point where both the babysitter and the child come to an agreement. Its important for me to have a talk with the parents beforehand about the do and dont's and the rules inside the house to make sure that those are respected even when parents are not at home
I have dealt with newborns, toddlers, and kids I am open with any type of care.
I am a person that loves kids, I am an avid arts and crafts and at 20 years old I still enjoy colouring books, children's movies, dressing teddy bears and playing
Besides working for the same family for over 5 years and my experience with family I also volunteered as a caretaker for kids that had just moved to Canada.
