Hello! My name is Justine and I am a 24-year old female who lives in the Junction area of Toronto. I absolutely love children, and have personal experience with kids throughout my life.
My experience comes from growing up in a household of 5 children with a single parent, and being one of the oldest of them. My eldest sister also has Down's Syndrome, so I have spent a good part of my life growing up and taking care of her. I also have experience teaching a children's bible study class at my church.
By trade I am a project designer and work at an Architecture firm here in Toronto full-time during the week, and I completed my Bachelor's of Interior Design at Ryerson in 2017. Balancing a four year undergrad, part-time internship and an avid family life taught me everything that I needed to know about management. In a professional setting I also manage my own projects through freelance work and at my full-time job.
In my spare time I LOVE to draw and create. I also play a little bit of guitar and grew up taking piano lessons (although the fingers are a little rusty). When it comes to kids, my favourite thing to do is play games. I feel it's important for both the child/teen and myself to establish a relationship of communication, and what better way to do that than through crafts and games!
Occasional babysitting | $14.00 per hour |
I only charge minimum wage for my services as I don't have any outstanding qualifications / certificates. My rates however do not include equipment for cooking / meal prep, but I'm happy to bring over my own board games to play with the kids!
