I have education in child development and became passionate about being a respite worker for families that have children with special needs. I have extensive experience with autism, cerebral palsy, and various other diagnosis'. Behaviour and development is an aspect that has always interested me.
I have worked in professional settings such as schools and hospital programs/camps for children of all ages as well as have ten years experience working with private families in their homes. I have found my niche!
I enjoy the arts, reading, being outdoors, swimming and staying active but am willing to help with homework and housework as well if it's needed.
I am fairly easy going but assertive in my personality when working with children, and find it easy to connect quickly into any new environment.
