Frine, au pair in Kelowna east central V1X

Hi I'm Friné! I'm a mature, friendly, caring and organized 20 year old. I'm the oldest with one younger sister. I can be quiet until I get to know someone, but not usually with kids. I love working with kids especially with babies, toddlers, and preschool aged children. I like babysitting, reading, experimenting with baking, and traveling. I can cook but I won't lie I'm not the best. I have my Food Safe level 1 Certificate, Standard First Aid and CPR, and Babysitters License. I would like to go to university for an Early Childhood Education program to be able to work in Daycare.

Last year I was an Au Pair in Estonia. My Au Pair family was great! It was defiantly a good experience which makes me want to do it again. What I did was wake the 2 four year old girls up in the mornings and get them ready for school then walk them to school. I would then come home and take care of the 2 one year olds throughout the day.

I've done a lot of volunteering with children ages newborn to 5 years in the past 10 years. Throughout high school I was in charge of a nursery with a friend for children ages newborn to 3 years. Also for 2 weeks in the summers I took care of the nursery for children ages newborn to 2 years at a summer camp. I have also done a one month practicum in a daycare working with children ages 9 months to 3 years. And I taught Sunday school to a 4-5 year olds as a fill in teacher and volunteering in the Sunday baby nursery for years.
