Alivia, au pair in Castlegar V1N

Hi there!
My name is Alivia, I'm a nineteen year old girl who has a passion for dance, yoga, and cooking. I like to believe that growing up in a large family & having parents that are involved with children every day (they are both principals) has instilled a passion for child care within me. I've been raised around a constant cycle of kids, always being asked to baby sit for the children of my parents coworkers, bosses, friends and family members alike.

I thrive in fast-paced environments, and consider myself to be a bit of a multitasker. As far as my background in child care goes: I have been assisting dance classses for kids ages 3-8 since I was 12, and in my grade 12 year of school I finished my courses early so I could spend my 2nd semester volunteering in 2 different kindergarten classes. This past summer I was one of four 'leaders' in the summer camp based in my hometown, working every day with anywhere between 6-40 kids in between the ages of six and twelve. I love to cook any and all meals, am more than willing to clean, am a crafting expert and can tell a bedtime story like no other. Although I am in Castlegar I am willing to commute to Nelson if needed.
