I believe that the most important characteristic in the relationship between a child and their caregiver is empathy. The willingness to learn how and why a child feels the way they do gives us insight into their true needs. When providing care, I focus on ensuring that the time is spent in a balanced, wholesome way, taking into account the full spectrum of a child's needs. I have training in emotional literacy, nutritional therapy, and hatha yoga, and I strive to incorporate all of those aspects of my education into my childcare philosophy.
