Lexie, after-school childcare in Nelson

Hi future family employers!

My name is Lexie, and I am a very friendly and playful person. I have interests in culinary arts, environmental sciences, and of course, child care. I really enjoy learning from what children can teach us about ourselves, and about our environments. I am a strong believer in Waldorf school teachings, but will not encourage this in any way upon your child(s) unless you also have an interest in Waldorf education. I have graduated from secondary school, and wish you pursue an education in ECE, culinary arts, or environmental sciences, and am currently saving up to do so!
I love the outdoors and go in frequent walks and adventures! I believe that a child's imagination is an important asset to have at a young age, and I try to incorporate and encourage imagination in the outdoors, as well as at home.
I do not have a drivers licences, so I am unable to pick up kids after school, but I am able to ride the bus with them, and or walk home and or to school.
I love animals, and I am very happy when I see them playing nicely with children. I am able to be strict with animals when it is necessary, as well as care for them if a child is being too rough.
