Maribel took care of my kids (1 and 4 years old) over a two-month period while I was in Montreal finishing some courses for school. She spent long days with them (7am-7pm) and took care of their meals, play time, clean-ups, baths, etc. Although she had little contact with us prior to starting, she knew how to jump in and tend to the routine while I was away, ensuring that all ran smoothly. She has a way of making you feel that the kids (and the house) are in good hands. The kids took to her right away. She had a very loving, nurturing approach and proposed fun activities for them to do. They always showered her with hugs and kisses before she left. She also did not hesitate to ask me questions when in doubt which reassured me that she was conscientious about responding to the family's needs.
